If it is ok, you probably stick with it.
I’m doing alright.
You may stick with that.
Rather than try something new.
New can seem risky.
New can appear like an effort.
It is.
I will just carry on with what I am doing…
It’s seems to work well enough…
But, is this what you really want?
What standard do you want to set?
What do you want to achieve?
You will get results.
But they depend to a large extent on the steps you take each day.
Keeping doing similar things, you will get similar results.
What is the cost of not updating what you do and think?
The downsides of the status quo.
What got you here won’t get you there
This is a key insight.
The results you are getting now emerge from the way you think and act.
Do you want similar results? Or better?
One caveat.
You are doing your best with what you have.
Then you discover there are other possibilities. Other approaches. Other skills and strategies.
There are many!
I have tried everything, some people say.
No-one has tried everything. That is impossible.
Even if it is a similar practice, the ways of doing it are innumerable with each moment being new and unique.
The narrative can be convincing although often untrue or inaccurate.
What do you want to achieve?
What are you working towards?
It is always small steps.
In a particular direction.
If you want better results, different results, you need different thinking and actions.
We are capable of changing our experiences because change is fundamental to life.
You don’t need to stick with it.
You are always changing anyway.
But which direction?
Coaching conversations clarify your direction, your needs and how to successfully meet them.
How can just talking about it change anything?
Because it does!
Conversations reveal what is going on so you can take positive action.
The plan is made via conversation and then you put it into place in your world.
Conversations review what has gone well, and what can be learned.
Conversations are catalysts for positive and healthy growth.
Thank you very much.
