It takes a moment to feel better.
You have an insight.
An understanding.
An aha.
And you feel better.
Sometimes you just realise that you are feeling better.
The sense appears in your awareness with everything else.
Everything appears here; your awareness.
If you are unaware, it is not happening for you.
Yet there are many, many things happening that you are unaware of that are shaping what you are aware of.
Being more present allows you to notice the moments you feel better.
Otherwise the story dominates, and the story is just something you tell yourself about what is happening.
Often the story is wrong or inaccurate.
It reveals how you are relating to things in that moment.
Is it working for you?
Or would a different way of relating to what is happening be better?
One of the greatest insights is that it is not what is happening as much as how you relate that matters.
The former you cannot control. The latter you can.
How am I relating to this?
Is it taking me down the path I want to travel?
Insights are the catalysts of change.
It takes a moment to change state, and hence a moment to change how you feel.
Each moment is different.
There is always change.
Nothing repeated, nothing the same.
Always new.
This brings great hope.
You can harness and embrace impermanence to see life as it is.
Then you can live.
